Business Introduction
The management of surface waters of lakes, rivers, estuaries, and coasts requires consideration of hydrologic characteristics such as flow, physical properties, and topography, as well as various environmental factors such as water quality and aquatic ecology. To optimize surface water management and address unforeseen challenges, it is necessary to understand how these water areas and sea areas function. Through numerical modeling and field observations, GeoSystem Research provides technical support for aquatic environment·water resource management agencies and government departments involved in coastal·estuarine environment and waterway management to help them understand the characteristics of the relevant system and develop management and conservation plans. We also provide solutions for specific problems as they arise. We provide solutions for integrated management of aquatic environment by analyzing a series of processes, connected from land to lakes, rivers, estuaries, and coasts

Integrated Numerical Modeling of Aquatic Environments
The water environment is composed of lakes and swamps, tributaries, main stem rivers, estuaries, coasts, and offshore waters, and it changes in response to various external forces such as weather, rainfall, topography, and flow. To understand and predict these changes in aquatic environments, we use tools called numerical models. A numerical model is a program that can be computed by expressing complex interactions between environmental elements as physical and mechanical numerical equations to analyze the dynamics of the water environment. Depending on the scope of application, numerical models can be classified into meteorological, watershed, river, marine, ecological, and ecological models, and an integrated approach is required for accurate analysis and prediction of the water environment. In other words, integrated modeling of the water environment requires integration of models (linking individual models that can be operated independently) and integrated modeling system (computer software that supports a series of modeling processes). Geosystem Research has modeling technology to predict changes in rivers, estuaries, and coastal environments caused by human activities and climate change using integrated aquatic environment modeling, and provides services to agencies and institutions -

Marine Spatial Planning
The government has established a marine space planning system to rationally and reciprocally utilize marine space as a sustainable common good by setting core use and management directions for marine space in advance, taking into account of the value of marine ecosystems and their potential for use and development. Geosystem Research analyzes and establishes marine space characteristics and marine use zones for nine categories, including fishery activity protection zones, aggregate and mineral resource development zones, energy development zones, marine tourism zones, environment and ecosystem management zones, research and education conservation zones, port and navigation zones, military action zones, and safety management zones. -
Sea Area Utilization Consulting and Marine Environmental Impact Assessment
To protect the marine environment and fisheries ecosystems from irresponsible development, to efficiently use marine resources and space, and to minimize social conflicts with shareholders, the importance of pre- and post-management policy measures is being emphasized. Currently, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries manages the Sea Area Utilization Consultation and Marine Environmental Impact Assessment system under the Marine Environment Management Act as one of the environmental protection policies for activities or projects occurring in the marine space Geosystem Research can scientifically predict the impacts of marine development through research and numerical modeling results of marine physics, topography, geology, water quality, and sediment, and proposes ways to minimize the impact on the marine environment with appropriate mitigation measures -
Conservation and Monitoring of Marine Ecosystems
In order to systematically and comprehensively manage the health of marine ecosystems, scientific provision of baseline data is essential. In particular, it is necessary to comprehensively understand the structural diversity and functional mechanisms of marine ecosystems based on oceanography to respond to global ecosystem threats caused by climate change and human activities. Geosystem Research can conduct swift and precise field surveys, experiments, and data analysis with our expert personnel to draw bespoke solutions. We provide technical support to major government ministries and local governments with establishing policies to manage, conserve, and restore marine ecosystems. We have an infrastructure to perform all of the processes, from structure, functioning, to valuation of marine ecosystems, enabling us to present a connected and comprehensive solutions
